Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between The Doggy Day Care Centre Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you, the dog owner (“you”, “your”), for the provision of dog day care services.

By booking or attending The Doggy Day Care Centre, you agree to these Terms.

2. Enrolment and Suitability

All new dogs must complete an enrolment period before attending regular day care. This period allows our team to assess temperament, behaviour, and suitability for our group environment.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue attendance for any dog that, in our opinion, is aggressive, excessively anxious, unwell, or otherwise unsuitable for day care.

3. Vaccinations, Flea and Worm Treatments

All dogs must be vaccinated against Kennel Cough and be up to date with flea and worm treatments.

Proof of vaccination is required before first attendance and annually thereafter.

If a dog has had a live Kennel Cough vaccine given through the nose or mouth, they cannot attend daycare for 72 hours after the vaccination.

This includes intranasal or oral Kennel Cough vaccines such as Nobivac KC, Canigen KC, or Versican Plus Bb Oral.

If a dog has had an injectable, non-live Kennel Cough vaccine, such as Nobivac Respira Bb, they can attend daycare straight away.

Dogs showing signs of illness, fleas, worms, or any contagious condition must not attend until fully clear.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog that does not meet these health requirements.

4. Bookings and Payments

All bookings are subject to availability.

Payment is required on the day or in advance.

Accepted payment methods include:

Cash
Card payment via SumUp
Payment link, subject to a £1 processing fee

Multi-day bookings of 3 days or more paid in advance qualify for a discounted rate.

5. Cancellations and No-Shows

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or amend a booking.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, will result in the full session fee being charged.

No refunds are issued for late cancellations or no-shows, as each missed space prevents another dog from attending.

6. Late Collection

Our standard collection time is by 6:00 pm unless otherwise stated.

Late collections are charged at £10 per 15-minute interval after closing time.

Persistent lateness may result in withdrawal of service.

7. Behaviour and Safety

Dogs play and socialise under supervision, but minor injuries, such as scratches or nicks, may occasionally occur during play.

We take every reasonable precaution to ensure dogs’ safety but accept no liability for injuries caused through normal dog interaction.

If a dog behaves aggressively or persistently disrupts the group, we may separate, time-out, or remove the dog for its own safety or the safety of others.

Continued behavioural issues may result in suspension or permanent exclusion.

8. Veterinary Care and Emergencies

If your dog becomes unwell or injured while in our care, we will:

Contact you immediately, or your emergency contact if you are unavailable; and
Seek veterinary advice or treatment as deemed necessary.

You authorise The Doggy Day Care Centre to act on your behalf in such circumstances and agree to cover any veterinary or transport costs incurred.

We will always act in your dog’s best interest.

9. Liability

While every effort is made to ensure your dog’s wellbeing, attendance at day care is at your own risk.

We are not liable for:

Loss or injury arising from your dog’s behaviour or that of another dog
Loss or damage to personal items left with your dog, including collars, leads, beds, or containers

We maintain full public liability insurance appropriate to our operations.

10. Media and Photography

You consent to The Doggy Day Care Centre photographing or filming your dog during attendance.

Images may be used for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes, including social media.

If you prefer your dog not to appear in media, please notify us in writing.

We may share photographs or videos of dogs attending The Doggy Day Care Centre on our official social media pages and website. Content is used responsibly and positively to represent our services and community.

All media use follows our Social Media & Content Policy. Owners may withdraw consent at any time by notifying us in writing.

11. Personal Data

We collect and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at:

By using our services, you consent to this processing.

12. Changes to Services or Fees

We reserve the right to update our pricing, opening hours, or service conditions.

Any changes will be displayed at reception and/or published on our website.

13. Termination of Services

We may suspend or permanently withdraw day care services if:

Fees remain unpaid
Vaccinations lapse
Your dog becomes unsuitable for group care
These Terms are breached

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising under them shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
