About Us
We pride ourselves on being the largest 5 Star rated dog care facility in the North East
Our team brings genuine expertise and experience to their work. Staff members hold recognised certifications in canine behaviour and canine first aid, and they take part in regular training to keep their knowledge and skills up to date. Above all, they share a genuine passion for dogs and their wellbeing.
You will often find that our team members have favourite breeds and interests that extend beyond the workplace, including hiking, outdoor activities, photography and volunteering with animal rescue organisations.

Our Paw Print
In 2018, we proudly opened The Doggy Day Care Centre, situated less than two miles from Morpeth town centre in Pegswood, Northumberland.
Later that same year, we launched our incredibly popular Pet Taxi service, offering both morning pick-ups and home drop-offs, taking the hassle out of your day and ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience for both you and your dog.
In 2019, we expanded with The Doggy Day Care Centre – Little Legs Club, a purpose-built facility designed especially for small breeds, puppies, and dogs with a more nervous or quiet temperament, providing a safe and nurturing environment tailored to their unique needs.
May 2022 marked the opening of our fantastic Alnwick centre, complete with a fully enclosed and heated indoor space featuring agility equipment, ball pits, engagement activities, and cosy snuggle zones. Outdoors, dogs enjoy an all-weather secure area, plus countryside adventures right on our doorstep.
By June 2023, our Morpeth – Little Legs Club relocated to bigger and better premises, now directly opposite our “Big Legs” centre, creating the perfect set-up for dogs of all sizes and personalities.
In February 2024, following the continued success of our Morpeth and Alnwick centres, we opened a stunning 3,000 sq ft purpose-built centre in the heart of Whitley Bay, offering state-of-the-art facilities and the same loving care we’re known for.
Spring 2025 marks another exciting milestone with the opening of our brand new 2,500 sq ft centre in Blyth, further expanding our reach and enabling us to welcome even more dogs into our daycare family.
In November 2025 we were named UK’s Best Dog Daycare Business by the Pet Industry Federation (PIF), the UK’s leading trade association for pet businesses, recognising our excellence in care, innovation, and customer service.

In 2019, we opened the The Doggy Day Centre Centre – Little Legs Club. A purpose built centre designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all small breed dogs, puppies and dogs with a more nervous or quiet temperament.
In May 2022, after the huge success of The Doggy Day Care Centre & Little Legs Club at our Morpeth centres, we opened a brand new 3000 sq ft purpose built centre right in the heart of Alnwick. This fantastic new centre comprises of a fully enclosed heated indoor area, where our facilities include, dog agility equipment, numerous engagement activities, ball pits and not forgetting our snuggle and sleeping areas.
June 2023: Our Morpeth – Little Legs Club relocated into BIGGER & BETTER premises straight opposite our Big Dog Day Care.
In February 2024, after the huge success of The Doggy Day Care Centre & Little Legs Club at our Morpeth & Alnwick centres, we opened a brand new 3000 sq ft purpose built centre right in the heart of Whitley Bay.
