Wren, our 14 month old Cocker loves DDC.
The guys are really flexible and happy for us to book week to week, to fit round our schedules.
She has been going for a couple of months and just does 2 half days. She has loved making new friends and is always shattered by the time we get her home.
The first sessions which are the induction were so much fun to see and gave us more comfort that she was being well cared for.
We especially love the little updates during the day and pictures and videos on Facebook.
We can’t recommend the staff highly enough. They obviously all care so much.

Hugo really enjoyed his enrolment days at Alnwick Doggy Daycare and passed with flying colours. He made lots of new friends, as we’ve recently moved to the area. This is a brilliant, well run doggy daycare, lovely caring staff, nothing is too much trouble. All the activities are absolutely great which all the dogs love and best of all they come home content, tired, and happy.🐾🤗

Fantastic day care for my puppy Toby. The staff are so good with him and he gets lots of socialisation in a safe environment with other smaller dogs. Photos with daily updates on Instagram.
The induction process was great- made sure he settled in.

5* Doggy Day Care! We have been using The Doggy Day Care Centre at Alnwick for several weeks now. Sapphy our beloved 4 month old husky, loves it! It’s been so good for her to socialise with other dogs and great for us with busy jobs, knowing she’s in great hands! Sapphy looks forward to going to “school” and as a husky pup full of energy, it’s been brilliant to have such a phenomenal set up on our doorstep! She comes home exhausted after a fun day! Really lovely team, great pricing and the social media updates are a fab way of keeping your mind at rest, knowing your babies don’t even care that you left them behind for the day! Thank you to the brilliant team for the care you give Sapphy during the week. It’s made a huge difference knowing she’s in great hands when work gets in the way!!!

We are in holiday in Northumberland and wanted a day at Alnwick Castle and gardens so booked Hattie into the Doggy Daycare Centre. After viewing the website, seeing that they have won awards and reading the great reviews we were happy to leave our precious girl. We were able to view her on social media enjoying fun and cuddles with other dogs and the lovely staff and even received a painting she had done and a sweet report card about her day. We were very happy with the care she received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alnwick Doggy Daycare to anyone on holiday in the area. It’s such a great service and the staff are wonderful. Thank you, it made such a difference to be able to spend a relaxing day knowing our girl was happy and well cared for.

Ralphie had a fab time at The Doggy Day Care Centre in Alnwick. I would recommend the centre, my dog was very happy and he also made a few friends on the day.

We were on holiday with my son and friends and needed a dog free day. This was the perfect solution.

We visited Alnwick and wanted to visit the castle, gardens and Lilidorie as a family and unfortunately our furbaby couldn’t come with us. I called Doggy Day Care and they were nothing shy of fantastic, really accommodating and professional. All documents were sent before we visited, they were extremely accommodating with the day we wanted to visit as we wanted a dry day. Buddy seemed to love it, we even got a review of his day and painted us a picture. I would have no hesitations in using again, I wish everywhere had a day care like this for when we can’t take Bud with us. Thank you so much 🙂

I cannot rate this more than a 1 star, as the staff do not allow you to go inside to view. They state to just look at their website. The website could have photos taken from anywhere, and there is no way you can get a true picture of the set up and care of the dogs, or whether they are happy to be there and cared for professionally. Hence, I will not be sending my dog here for day care here.

We were on holiday in Alnwick and used the Doggy Day Care for a day and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Millie had a wonderful time and clearly loved all the activities and making new friends. It was so reassuring to see the photos and videos shared on Instagram showing how happy and settled she was. The staff were friendly, caring, and professional, and the environment felt safe and welcoming. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again when visiting the area.

What a fantastic asset to have in our area. We’ve taken our mad boy Sonny there for about 2 years & he loves it. The staff are all superb, but he absolutely loves Daisy! He gets loads of attention & activities through the day & is always ready for a good sleep after he’s had a little walk & his tea. We rehomed Sonny 4 years ago & he had a number of issues, huge reactivity & no recall being just a couple of them. We did a lot of work with him & his behaviour improved in time. We were worried when we took him to Alnwick DDC the first few times, in case he reverted to his old ways with us not there, but we’ve had nothing but great feedback from all the staff about him. The activities they do with him & the socialisation he gets has brought him on even more & we get pictures & reels of him through the day as well. We couldn’t ask for a better place to take him. If I could give it more stars, I would! Thank you.

The team at Alnwick DDC continue to work hard for our furry friends. They are always friendly and positive when picking up or dropping off. Our little dog loves the time he spends there playing with his fellow ‘curlies’ and it’s great to see what he’s been up to via the social media facility at the end of the day.

The Alnwick DDC is fantastic!! My dog, Enzo, can’t wait to get in there for his weekly visit. He has great fun with loads of activities & meets lots of different dogs. He’s been attending since he was a pup and it was crucial to his socialisation. Although he’s a good natured dog, he’s learned good manners and is now a very loving dog. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. They make Enzo very welcome and I feel that they genuinely love him & care for him. I am continually recommending them to friends and strangers! Well done Alnwick Doggy Day Care!!🥰🐾

We are on holiday and were unable to take our little Arlo with us. The team were fantastic as Arlo can be a little nervous but they made sure to put him with little playmates that would help him come out of his shell and build his confidence. This is a great facility and great value for money and priceless for the peace of mind the staff gave me that he would be well cared for loved. Arlo gives it a big paws up and he’s now having a good nap. Thank you again 🥰

Our dog Hector had a fabulous time here. We were holidaying in Northumberland and wanted to be able to leave him somewhere we knew he’d be safe and happy so that we could visit a few tourist attractions that aren’t dog friendly. He thoroughly enjoyed his 3 days at Alnwick doggy daycare centre and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other dog owners.

I absolutely love having a doggie daycare so close to both home and work. Our, not so little anymore, puppy Bruno has been there twice so far, and the girls make him feel incredibly welcome and well cared for! He always comes home exhausted—which is definitely a good sign! Eloise and Eleyna have been wonderful, keeping me updated daily on how Bruno is doing. Plus, the social media posts showing him making new friends always brighten my day. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Gizmo spent an afternoon at the Alnwick Day Care and I wouldn’t hesitate to take him back. I’ve booked him in again! He is a very excitable full of energy and mischief boy and they looked after him brilliantly. He was fast asleep as soon as he come home! Thank you 🙏

Another holiday person but I wanted to add more details about my dog incase it lets anyone else try the daycare.

She does attend a daycare sometimes by us but it’s one that can have 60+ dogs and she is often shoved in a room with just the big dogs. In 7 years I’ve had no pictures of her just told she was ok but didn’t truly know.

My dog Hermione is now 7 and has been reactive to people since we got her at a few weeks old. Out in the street she can have a go at people who get too close to me out of fear. Later on she became reactive to dogs. She’s had behavioural modification as well as doing mantrailing scentwork agility and obedience.

I’ve now had 7 years of holidays where I’ve had to go to quieter places. I was actually debating finding a kennel for her. But with a random google search I found this daycare.

I carefully watched their pairings and playmates over the last month and was really impressed they matched the dogs up not just all the dogs together which is how it should be.

I was updated I saw videos of her on social media loving people which unless it’s family she wouldn’t do. I was expecting her to be really anxious but she seemed happy. Loved the report card and the painting she did so so sweet. She will be coming back 3 times on this holiday so I don’t have to worry about her around people.

Felt like a weight had lifted to be on holiday without worryingz thank you so much

Everyone was very pleasant and the dogs seemed to be well looked after. It was great to be able to relax and visit Alnwick Gardens without worrying about the dogs. The staff were very good at letting us know how they settled and keeping us up to date with what they were doing. We would definitely use Doggy day care again.

What a fantastic place. We put our two mini schnauzers in for a day and they settled in beautifully (even Coco to our surprise who is usually quite nervous and barky). Being able to see photos and videos of them through the day and getting the initial text telling us how they were getting on was such a relief for us and such an amusement for our kids! We have also put our newest schnauzer Lottie and our granddaughter dogs Peanut and Pumpkin into the enrolment class. They loved it and it has been great for learning to socialise.

First class start to finish. Regular updates on how our dog was interacting on his first day were great, we were always in the loop and it looked like he had lots of fun. Detailed info was required prior to our dogs first visit which meant he had a tailor made experience. Very highly recommend

Milo loved his day at Doggy day care. He was very well looked after. I was sent messages throughout the day letting me know how Milo was doing. If you are looking for somewhere to leave your dog whilst visiting places which do not allow Dog Entry then look no further than Alnwick Doggy Day Care. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Mason is a regular visitor whilst on holiday and is always happy to return. The staff are all friendly and obviously love looking after the dogs whilst in their care.
I have received videos and photos on social media so I am able to see the activities and interaction from the staff with him. He is always shatteted on collection.

Reggie went back for the second time whilst we are up on holiday here again…this time to allow us to visit The Alnwick Garden. He was welcomed warmly and we were reassured with a text an hope or so later to say he was doing great. Various photos and videos on social media showed him having a great time. Wouldn’t hesitate to use this again when we’re up here another time. Thank you x

Alfie (my nervous rescue) had a great time at Alnwick Doggy Daycare.
Before his four sessions here he was a bit reactive. especially on the lead, so I was very worried when dropping him off, but within half an hour I received lovely photos of him happily running around with what looked like his long lost twin, he made lots of new friends over the four sessions, his confidence with other dogs and his social skills have come on wonderfully, he trotted in enthusiastically every morning and came out very happy!
The staff are genuinely friendly, caring and knowledgeable.
I would highly recommend Alnwick Doggy Daycare.

Wonderful day care centre for dogs a few minutes drive from Alnwick Castle who do day care for dogs on holiday. We wanted to visit the Castle whilst on holiday in Northumberland with our border collie, but dogs aren’t allowed in Alnwick Castle, so I found this doggy day care on google who care for the dogs in an open environment with other dogs rather than being locked in a kennel. The staff were wonderful from when I first contacted them via phone and on the day when I dropped and collected her. We received updates during her 5 and 1/2 hour stay including photos and videos on Facebook/Instagram which were lovely to see. Also when collecting her we got a painting she’d done whilst with them and a report card listing how her day had been. I would definitely recommend this doggy day care to anyone.

Nelly’s Favourite Day Out
Nelly is so excited when we arrive at Alnwick Doggy Day Care and it’s clear that she’s looked after by a team who just love working with dogs. Nelly enjoys the company of other dogs and lively young people. Attending DDC every couple of weeks has helped with socialising and playing with dogs of all ages and sizes. I’m always relieved that she actually wants to come home at the end of the day, always exhausted and happy.

This place is a godsend! My puppy Luna loves it, and it means I can come to work or attend a social event without having to worry about leaving her alone.
They help support obedience training, play with her and wear her out for the day.
She comes home and sleeps after her visit! She loves all of the staff and can’t wait to get in and see her pals.
This business is such an asset to the area, I can’t recommend it enough!

The first impression that I got was of the dogs arriving at Alnwick Doggy Day Care all excited to get in and start having fun.
I love that you get video and photo updates throughout the day, I’m always on the lookout for what Durin is getting up to, he has a lot of fun socialising and getting attention.
I would highly recommend the centre to any dog owner its wonderful to know your dog is having fun at times when you can not be with them.
Just want to add that Durin is a former Greek stray and a little nervous of new situations but he loves it there.

Milo our cocker spaniel has been going to this fabulous fun friendly doggy play centre since April…….

We needed their professional help at very short notice due to our house renovation at the time.

Milo now goes at least twice a week to meet up with old friends

We adopted Hari at the age of 2. He is the sweetest and most loving dog and very well behaved at home, except he is terrified of other dogs when walking on a lead. Taking him to the doggy day care enables him to socialize with other dogs safely. He absolutely loves going and tries to drag us back in there when we pick him up. All the staff are kind and helpful and we love seeing the videos of him playing happily with the other dogs. Thank you!

Fantastic day care, would highly recommend. Our little dog is very nervous of people and other dogs, just 17 months old. Pets at home recommended The doggy day care to help with her confidence. We were very happy with the care they gave to our Ezra, she had lots of cuddles and started coming out of her shell throughout the day. We were kept updated with a reassuring text and pictures on Instagram. We will be taking her back, and really think it is going to help her be more comfortable with new people and build her confidence. 5 out of 5 from Ezra! 🐾💗

Fabulous welcome and reassuring staff.
We left our Cocker Spaniel for the day whilst on holiday so we could enjoy the Alnwick Gardens/Castle. Received a text mid way through the day to say Theo had settled and was having fun. I would highly recommend The Doggy Day Care centre.

Lady had a great time at the doggy day care centre. It was her first time in day care and absolutely loved it. She settled in straight away and was lovely seeing videos of her throughout the day on the social media pages. She loved it that much that when we went to pick her up they had to carry her as she refused to leave. I would highly recommend and was great that we could leave her for the day, safe in the knowledge she was having fun too, while we got to explore the castle and gardens on our holiday. If I lived closer I would make it a regular thing as she really enjoyed it and made some new friends too.

We used The Doggy Daycare whilst us humans visited Alnwick castle and gardens for the afternoon on our holidays.
Dolly was welcomed warmly and went in tail wagging. The staff we met were lovely and professional and sent me a text to let me know she had settled. This was great as Dolly has never been to daycare before.

I can honestly say… I wish we lived nearby as I would happily let Dolly come all the time.

Although Dolly couldn’t tell me all about it… she didn’t leave her bed the rest of the evening!! One very happy sleepy pooch!

Needed a safe space for my cockapoo to play while I went into town and did boring non doggy friendly activities. Registration online was very straightforward. Drop off was easy and despite it being my dog’s first time, staff welcomed him like an old friend. I received text updates which was very reassuring and also viewed video clips of him making new friends on Facebook. At the end of his session I collected a very happy, if a little tired, doggy. I would have no hesitation in leaving him here again. First rate service!

Brilliant, so convenient. Booked out Labrador in for a couple days while holidaying in Northumberland while we did some activities that weren’t dog friendly. Love the Instagram account where you can watch your dog playing. The rates and times were very reasonable and pickup/drop-off is super easy. Will definitely use again when we come back.

We booked Eva in for doggy day care for 1 day whilst we were at a wedding. We were initially worried about leaving her somewhere with dogs and people she hadn’t met before but the team were brilliant with her! They sent text updates and regularly updated their Instagram with pictures to show her progress. We couldn’t be happier with the service and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, interactive and caring place to leave their dogs for the day. Thank you

We used The Doggy Day Care Centre when we were on holiday recently. They have a very thorough initial registration process & on the day the hand over was friendly and professional. Both of which were very reassuring especially being so far from home. We were updated part way through the day as to how our dog was getting on & they posted on their page a small clip & picture of him. This also put our minds at ease and let us enjoy our day out without worrying. If we stayed in the area again in the future, we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. First time using any dog daycare service and I have to say we were very pleased. We were made to feel very welcome as we only needed somewhere for Bruno for 1 day whilst we were on holiday. Regular posts on Instagram and a msg to say all was well, was very reassuring. It’s just a shame Alnwick Doggy Day Care isn’t closer to home as I would definitely use them more often. Thank you 😊

The best thing possible. Max is a rescue dog with some issues He absolutely adores the staff at Alnwick and really looks forward to going there. He is always happy to go in and catch up with his friends. Whilst he was always a sociable dog he is now more confident without being pushy. I notice he is very gentle with smaller or younger dogs. Would not hesitate to recommend Doggy day care Alnwick for either the big boys or little legs club.

We recently had our dog have a day at The Doggy Day Care Centre Alnwick whilst we were on holiday and visited Alnwick Gardens for the day. Rosie has never been to a day care but is a very friendly sociable dog. She had the best time, was very well looked after by extremely friendly and caring staff. They sent us updates through the day directly to us and put photos and videos on social media so we could see what a good time she was having. When we collected her they told us how she’d got on and said they would welcome her back anytime which made us feel really happy as she’d never been to something like that before. We wouldn’t hesitate in letting her go again.
